Thank you for your interest in becoming a Mentor with The "Why You?" Initiative, Inc. [YU?] Program. [YU?] is a growing national volunteer-based nonprofit organization established in 2011 to eradicate barriers to students and academic/professionals' success by effectively delivering support via mentoring, academic tutoring/assistance, professional/academic development, and community development/empowerment through a fusion of virtual and traditional mediums.
As a Mentor, you will have an opportunity to aid students and young professionals across the nation in meeting their academic and career goals. Additionally, provide instruction, guidance, mentoring, and/or a host of other developmental offerings for the next generation of great American leaders.
By joining the [YU?] team, you are becoming a part of our nation’s needed solutions.
As a Mentor, you will guide your mentee(s) through a variety of channels. These channels will include monthly meetings with your mentee(s), monthly webinars, Fall and Spring Biannual Confab and other various events.
